Japan, July 19, 2016 / Fuller, Inc. (Fuller), Japan’s number one mobile app analytic service provider, founded by CEO of Fuller, Shuta Shibuya, announced today that it has raised another $4.2 million in series C funding from 2 pre-existing and 4 new investors. Investors include, Ibaraki Fund, Local Creation Niigata No. 1 Investment Limited Partnership, that are supported by Japanese government, SEGA Games Co., Ltd., VOYAGE VENTURES, Inc., Global Catalyst Partners Japan, and the Asahi Shimbun Company. With the vision of building one well-known Japanese tech company such as SONY and Toyota, the funding will be used for Fuller’s oversea expansion. With this round, Fuller has raised in the total of $7.5 million since its establishment in 2011.
Fuller has been known as the startup company which is specialized in a mobile application service and technology. Fuller’s mobile app analytic service “App Ape” is used by over 2000 mobile app publishers and developers in Japan. Since its establishment, Fuller marks 5th year in November 2016. Fuller has ballasted its business domestically, and May 2016, Fuller has launched “App Ape” in South Korea. Fuller will use the funding to further expansion of “App Ape” in Asian Market with the precise data quality and experiences they have been gathered.
Now, Fuller has pre-launched the new service “Joren”. “Joren” is a service which automatically convert an existing website into a mobile app. “Joren” distinguishes itself from app builder markets by promising to deliver high-quality app with made in Japan quality with affordable pricing. Its service strategically run by English as its first language, so it can be used around the world. “Joren” already has started accepting pre-registrations for its beta since this May, and with just 2 months period, “Joren” had collected its long waiting list from countries such as U.S., Japan, UK, India, and many Spanish Speaking countries.
Shuta said: “If you look back the history of the website, the number of websites has increased rapidly since 2003 when a website developer tool “Wordpress” has appeared. Now, anyone can easily build their website with contents management systems. I believe that a mobile app supposed to be able to be built as easy as building a website. “Joren” will foster the growth of mobile apps in numbers, and change the way an individual interact with mobile apps.”
Joren’s first mobile app will be released at the Japanese cultural festival J-POP Summit 2016, where Fuller sponsors its event, which will be held at Fort Mason Center in San Francisco on this July 23rd and 24th. In 2014, J-POP Summit has hit 120 thousand visitors at Japantown in San Francisco and had to move their venue to Fort Mason Center in 2015. Shuta will be holding a booth at its Tech Tradeshow for “Joren” on both day, and will have a presentation at the Innovation Week pitch deck.
